Banking

OpenShift for Banking-Grade AML

openshift
red-hat

A top-tier Ukrainian bank, part of one of the world's largest financial groups, needed to run ThetaRay's AI-based AML platform in-house, across two data centers, with zero tolerance for downtime or data leaving its walls. A public cloud was not an option, and the platform had to be built from scratch.

We designed the architecture of the production OpenShift 4.x platform and led its deployment: three clusters (production, disaster recovery and test) across two sites, with tested failover, banking-grade security and configuration as code. The stack includes ArgoCD for GitOps, Zabbix and Prometheus for monitoring, EFK for logging and F5 for load balancing.

ThetaRay was integrated into the OpenShift infrastructure without obstacles. Transaction data never leaves the bank, the solution meets its operational and security standards, and the bank's own team now runs the platform.

Telecom

On-Premise OpenShift Platform

openshift

A telecom operator decided to move its existing application stack to Kubernetes, deployed in its virtual environment on vSphere. The new platform had to be stable, scalable and highly available, meet the needs of its developers and satisfy the specific requirements of the operator's Cyber Security Department.

Triangu built an on-premise Red Hat OpenShift container platform on RHEL, with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring, EFK for logging and MetalLB with HAProxy for load balancing. Delivery runs on GitOps with ArgoCD and CI pipelines in Jenkins and Maven, and the infrastructure is automated with Terraform and Ansible.

The operator now runs a scalable, highly available OpenShift platform on its own infrastructure, integrated with its GitHub, Jira and Confluence toolchain.

OpenShift Disaster Recovery Site in the Cloud

Terrafom
openshift
red-hat

A government customer was moving an existing application to a cloud provider to reduce the risk of depending on a single site. It needed a secure, stable, scalable and highly available service that can handle consumer requests whenever the on-premise service is unavailable.

The platform also had to serve as a development environment for testing new versions of the customer's microservices. Triangu built a secure, highly available OpenShift-based Kubernetes cluster on the cloud provider's resources, with Grafana and Prometheus monitoring, EFK logging and HAProxy load balancing, provisioned with Terraform and Ansible.

In case of a disaster, the cluster handles requests in place of the on-premise service, and the same platform gives developers a safe place to test new microservice versions before release.

Hybrid OpenShift and AWS Platform

openshift
red-hat

A bank was developing a new mobile application and asked Triangu to design and build a new high-availability architecture. It had to handle all customer requests and meet the requirements of several teams: security, development, QA and support.

We built a scalable, highly available hybrid infrastructure across on-premise and AWS services, with a Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes cluster at its core. Monitoring runs on Grafana and Prometheus, logging on EFK, load balancing on HAProxy and storage on GlusterFS, while delivery uses GitOps with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and Maven.

New versions of the application now go live without interrupting the service for end users, and the same toolchain, with Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence, keeps development, QA and support teams aligned.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What teams usually ask before bringing us in on Red Hat.

How does Triangu approach Red Hat OpenShift deployments?

We handle the full OpenShift lifecycle, from architecture and cluster deployment to CI/CD integration and GitOps configuration with ArgoCD. Every deployment includes high availability, Grafana and Prometheus monitoring, EFK logging and security hardening as standard. We have delivered production OpenShift for banking, telecom, energy and government customers, on-premise and in hybrid setups.

Can you migrate our VM-based workloads to OpenShift?

Yes, it is one of our most common engagements. We migrate workloads from vSphere and on-premise virtual environments to Red Hat OpenShift with minimal service disruption. The scope covers readiness assessment, architecture redesign, containerization and post-migration optimization, with security and compliance addressed throughout.

How do you handle security and compliance in OpenShift environments?

Security is part of the design. RBAC, network policies, secrets management and continuous monitoring are standard from the start. For regulated sectors such as banking, we align the architecture with sector-specific requirements, including configurations designed to pass security review and sign-off.

Can you support OpenShift across hybrid and multi-cloud environments?

Yes. We build OpenShift for on-premise, public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid setups, including on-premise plus AWS architectures and disaster recovery sites running on a cloud provider. They are designed for workload portability, failover and demand-driven autoscaling, so the platform can handle peak load with minimal disruption.

What ongoing support do you provide after deployment?

24/7 SLA-backed managed services covering monitoring, incident response, patching and continuous optimization. Support is tailored to your environment, and we operate as an extension of your team across the full post-deployment lifecycle.

Can we buy Triangu's Red Hat services through AWS Marketplace?

Yes. Our Red Hat services on AWS, such as OpenShift Service on AWS, OpenShift AI, CentOS to RHEL migration assessment and Ansible Automation Platform, are listed in AWS Marketplace as professional services sold by Triangu. You can buy them through a private offer on your existing AWS agreement.

Where does your Red Hat platform need to go next?

Tell us what you run today and what you plan: OpenShift, RHEL, Ansible automation or a migration.
